After 38 years of working at the centre of INRA, we would like to whole-heartedly thank Mrs. Christiane Courant for her dedication to the journal, her patience and for all the help that she has given to develop the journal Apidologie since its creation in 1970 by Mr. J. Louveaux and Prof. F. Ruttner. We wish her all the best for her retirement and that she may have other such wonderful experiences.

Mrs. Anne Dufay, a librarian at INRA since 1987, will continue in Christiane Courant’s footsteps, taking over her work at the Sophia-Antipolis centre, where she has been in charge of scientific information since 2003.
