Abstract - The flagellar sensillar distribution in males of 12 species of bumble bees, including five species with large-eyed males, did not show any conspicuous species-specific or behavior-related pattern. The sensillar types were morphologically similar to those of other bee taxa. In contrast to Apis drones, the bumble bee antennae lacked ventral wall-pore sensilla.
