The pattern ITS1-A was observed in the specimens of M. beecheii from México (Yucatán, Campeche and Chiapas positions 1, 2 and 3 respectively) and also in northern Guatemala (Petén, positions 8 and 10), the pattern ITS1-B has been observed in specimens from El Salvador (4) and southern Guatemala (Alta Verapaz, Chiquimula and Retalhuleu in positions 5, 6 and 9 respectively), the pattern ITS1-C (position 7) has been only detected in San Marcos (Guatemala). M is the GeneRuler 100bp DNA ladder plus (Fermentas).
